You will get a free third-level domain which you can use in place of your ever-changing public IP. You should help ensure that your provider continue to exist by avoiding bad publicity and take step to ensure that your dynamic DNS client does not spam their nameservers with unnecessary updates.

Download the updater recommended by your provider, install and run it. Just a nag here. Keep your modem and router, if any, powered up all the time. There is no better way to maintain stable DNS.
